TweetFilm No. 11 – Jurassic Park (with bonus giveaway!)

“Hold on to your butts.”

We are back with the greatest dinosaur film of all time (including the future – c’mon, who’s ever gonna beat this?). Welcome… to Jurassic Park.

I consider this film to be a turning point in my childhood – watching it in the cinema was one of the key experiences that made me a film geek. I was front row centre, and at the end of the T-Rex scene I realised that I’d torn up my ticket stub without realising it. No doubt many of you spent countless hours running around your backyard pretending to be a velociraptor. Go on, admit it.

Tuesday, February 14th (guaranteed to be an enjoyable Valentine’s date movie), the hashtag will find a way:

#tfjurassicpark

And, as an extra bonus this month, in association with Classic Comics (who have long supported us and are located just across the road from our screening venue), we will be giving away some Jurassic Park comics!

The giveaway starts Wednesday Feb 8th, and the only way to enter is to follow @tweet_film on Twitter. And while you’re at it, follow @ClassicComics on Twitter as well! There will also be extra comics given away at the screening, so there are plenty of chances to win.

As usual, Melbourne folks can come to the free screening at Loop, located at 23 Meyers Place in the CBD, at the Parliament end of Bourke St.

Not in Melbourne, or can’t get there but still want to take part? No problem! We’ll be synchronising our start time with timeanddate.com’s Melbourne page as usual, so you can take part at home. Read our how-to page for all the details.

So, to sum up…
Where: Loop, 23 Meyers Place, Melbourne / anywhere with a DVD player
When: Tuesday January 14, arrive from 7:00 pm for a 7:30 start.
