TweetFilm No. 4 – Event Horizon

Few would disagree that the 90s were a great time for Sam Neill. The Hunt For Red October, Jurassic Park, In The Mouth of Madness (which I love unashamedly), and of course, Event Horizon. Probably Paul W.S. Anderson’s best film, responsible for teaching me one of the few latin phrases I know, and a great bit of cheesy sci-fi horror fun – sounds like a good candidate for a TweetFilm, no?

You can’t tweet – she won’t let you. Unless you use this hashtag:

We’ll be kicking things off this Monday evening at 7:30 pm, according to timeanddate.com’s Melbourne page. Hopefully we have some new participants after the Emerging Writers’ Festival event (which I’ll be doing a write-up of soon), so if it’s your first time playing along at home, check out our how-to guide; here are a few other links to help prepare you to travel beyond the boundaries of our universe, beyond known scientific reality.

Event Horizon on IMDb

Trailer

A great write-up looking back at the appeal of Event Horizon, by Clem Bastow, the wonderfully talented lady who requested we TweetFilm this movie in the first place!
